Home
They arrived home just a couple of days before Christmas, and have settled in to a new home, and praise God he was able to go back to his old job.
They believe that they honored God as they followed his leading and that having to come home was part of God's plan.
They made friends with a native family, and blessed them abundantly. The family taught Neal Pigeon language lessons and Neal picked it up quickly.
When they were leaving the mother of the fellow said what you have done for my family you have done for me. They all cried as Neal, Kristina, Jonam and Evan boarded the plane.
They are keeping in touch with the family via another missionary that is there using internet.

Maple syrup

I'm thinking that it has been about 10 weeks since Neal, Kristina, Jonam & Even moved over to Papua New Guinea.
I am so thankful that we can communicate through the internet and see pictures of them as well.
They seem to be doing well.
We have finished teaching the first term.
Kristina is teaching grade 7/8 English, music and geography and English to grades 9-12.
Neal is teaching art to grade 7/8 and 9-12 and working on building and maintenance work at the missions base.
For the first term He has focused on drawing lessons. Through the rest of the year we will be talking about colour, composition and trying out a variety media.

Becoming Normal
Here are a few things which are becoming normal to us now...
- Making sure there is always enough filtered drinking water.
- Rinsing the veggies with a little bleach in the water before
eating them.
- Always feeling like you need to shower.
- Very loud crickets, frogs, birds and other unknown sounds at night.
- Trying to convert money in my head from Kina & Tora (toya)
to dollars and cents.
- Being the minority and having people stare and children
touch you as you pass by
